Pride was fun, the hospital was not.
I did go to pride in the end and actually had a great time. Jess Gardham was there again and played my favourite of her songs, I highly recommend you give her a listen some time.
Somehow I managed to get a stone or something stuck in my eye near the end of the day though. The first aiders recommended that I go to a hospital, which I eventually did. Finally got home now with some antibiotics and am pretty much ready to pass out and sleep for all of tomorrow.
Welp.
I told my mother I was going to pride today and she was happy and wanted to take me and little brother to it. She was also totally fine with the idea of me going down in girl mode, as was I when was just me her and my little brother.
She then decided to invite my other brother, my stepdad, my sister and her boyfriend, all of whom I’m not out to yet. When I brought it up with her she couldn’t see why I might have a problem with that and just told me to ‘get over it’.
Now I’m sitting here contemplating not going at all and I have no idea what to do.
